There are simple ways you can use the internet to help people and animals. Here are some great websites that let you help people or animals. Even if you give a little bit, you can still make a difference. Also, What ever amount you give is tax deductible which is great for everyone.
This site lets you learn new words while donating rice to the world food program to help end hunger. How cool is that !! :) It's fun too because you become smarter while helping people :)

Another great site is operation smile which helps young kids with facial problems and creates smiles :)Makes you appreciate how lucky we are that we can smile :) a smile can make someones day brighter. www.operationsmile.org
Other great sites that help animals are The World Wildlife Fund, helps endangered species. One way that you can also donate to the world wild life fund is to put it on your web page and it keeps track of how many visits you get and donates a small amount from each visitor to you site. So even if you have Myspace you can put it on your webpage and donate with each visitor you get.

If you like helping local shelter animals you can adopt from a shelter whenever possible and, or go to The ASPCA Website. I have donated there and they always send me a thank you gift like a t-shirt or holiday cards which is great. :)
